    Battery full, phone reboots, wtf?

So, I have this weird issue. My backflip will randomly reboot to the white moto logo screen, vibrate a little, then keep doing that. Eventually it stops displaying the logo and just vibrates every couple seconds with a black screen.
If I pull the battery, (the only way I've found to make it stop vibrating) and plug it in to a laptop, it boots up fine, and continues to work for a while. I assume it's not the rom doing this because it seems to reboot before the rom would get loaded.
I'm running gintech's deblurred rom v2.2 and haven't touched the radio settings.
Anybody got any idea why it's doing this?

Are you overclocking? First thing that came to mind was having SetCPU set to "On Boot" with the clock speed set to an OC value. Some people had that issue previously but without more info, it's just a guess.

I'm trying to get a tech-related shoutcast radio station going that is caller-driven. Interested? Check out the site: DJonesRadio.com

Nope, not using the overclocking or multitouch mods. What additional information would be helpful?

I'm beginning to think this is a battery issue and that I might need to replace the battery. Is there any way I can verify this before I shell out for a new battery?

My backflip will sit idle all day, but as soon as I try to do something with it, it will start doing the same kind of reboots you are getting. I have stock 2.1 upgrade.

Your battery connection might be the cause..
