Problem: "Mobile network type"

Hi! I have a problem with my celphone.

Im from Argentina and I have a MB 300 from "Personal". I updated the cel (Rooted - Flashed Italian Radio - Flashed Rom) and I cant get 3G signal.

Now I'm using 2.2 Cyanogenmod from Kernelzilla and in "Setting - About the Phone - Status" I get this:

How do I change from EDGE in "Mobile network type" to UMTS???

PD: I updated a Backflip for a friend a couple hours ago with the same process and it get 3G and the Mobile network type was UMTS.

Call *#*#4636#*#*, Select phone info , check it says WCDMA preferred.

It was configured in WCDMA preferred already!
