Need a lil Help fellas..
Am using DT script for a2ext.
It works absolutely fine and so does the native a2sd.
I just wanted to know if there's a way to chose/select what app to move to sd-ext.. The thing is I want some of my apps(e.g. Launcher) in the phone memory.. so how can I do that??..

With DT it's all or nothing - you can't keep anything on the phone.
If you stop using DT and just use native a2sd you can choose what you want to move.
I think.

OK, i had last flashed test14 back in late June.
tonite i flashed the final version. (Thanks AGAIN j_r0dd!)
I used android commander to flash the recovery image,
rebooted phone,
copied the ROM .zip to sdcard,
rebooted and chose "install update from .zip"
the install and initial boot didn't take quite as long as I remember from last time...
so, when phone is fully booted - all my stuff was still there.
cyanogenmod settings and phone info both report the correct version of "CyanogedMod-7.1.0.RC1-Backflip-KANG".
here's my questions:
1.)is this normal to have all my stuff still there after applying update?
2.)even though two different locations report the correct version, is there a chance it didn't install properly
3.)should i have completely wiped phone and sdcard before applying 7.1.0.RC1?

It's normal to have your stuff there, because when you login at the beginning with your Google Account, your information and apps get synced into your account for later versions. So it's really not necessary to flash Gapps after you have done it one time.

thanks for the reply.
let me clarify a little bit more, just for paranoia's sake...
by all my stuff, i mean all my accounts, apps, settings, files, etc. (icon locations, custom icons, EVERYTHING is still there!)
it's normal/ok to have all that?
i was expecting to reboot and have to setup accounts, apps and custom settings again.
after playing with phone for the past little while, the only things i noticed were the overclock settings had been changed to 114MHZ (wtf? lol), and after i changed it back to stock speed, the phone runs a little bit smoother than it did before.

Since you wemt into the phone recovery (and not ROM manager) it didn't give u an option to "wipe all data" had you did then everything wuold had resetted unles u backed up ur settings using titanium backup or something else. It doesn't matter if u didn't wipe all data b4 flashing but you may run into a few bugs, for example, wifi or phone reception. Its always recommended to do a full wipe when flashing a new rom. In your case, its technically the same rom w/ different files so those will replace the older ones, which should work fine.
If u run into any problems, make a nandroid backup and reflash while wiping all data.

Hello guys I'm having a big problem here, my BackFlip just can't get past the A N D R O I D text logo after flashing because it restarts! CWM doesn't show errors at all when flashing, always says "successfully" on the end :\
I've flashed j_r0dd's newest CM7 RC from his thread using his latest modded recovery (CWM 4.0.1.4, the orange one, downloaded everything from his thread today) and every time I try to flash any rom from this forum, the phone won't boot the system and just restarts...
I've had to reflash it with RSD Lite to get the phone working with the Personal rom, no errors there and boots up correctly (but motoblur is BS..)
My BackFlip is a Latin American one, the box says "Made in Argentina by BGH" and I'm using a 8GB Class 4 MicroSD card....
Can anyone help me?? Thanks in advance for the hard work!
