i don't know, when i did it, i checked psneuter, not rageagainstthecage, because when i used rageagainstthecage, it didn't work and just kept looping, but when i used psneuter, it worked fine.

Wow, I think I managed to **** up something as simple as this. Pretty sure i just bricked it but not positive. I was in the process of rebooting into recovery, I was waiting on a black screen for a while and had to get off my train. When hopping off I dropped my phone and the back panel and battery came out. ****. Worst timing ever. I've rebooted it straight away hoping MAYBE, MAYBE I'll be lucky. Nope, it just not sits on the motorola blur boot screen and doesnt go any further.
Has my clumsiness and stupidity bricked my phone? Or is there any was around this?
I tried seeing if my pc will recognise it, incase i can put on a recovery that way and boot with the camera button recovery boot, but it doesnt appear when I punch in adb devices.
Any help would be VERY greatly appreciated.
Oh this is a Moto Dext too.
    Thanks,
    Tehkrohnz

um, being that this is the backflip forum, i'm not sure how much response you're going to get on how to save it. if it's like the backflip you might possibly be able to use rsd lite to reinstall the original image if you're able to find it for your phone....

Use RSD Lite. Pull the battery. Turn it on while holding J + D. Flash the correct sbf file. set up. reroot, flash, rom, etc.
    Phone: Motorola Backflip
    ROM: CyanogenMod 7.2
    Recovery: ClockworkMod 5.0.2.6

Hey thx for the reply....ill elaborate my problem a little more:

i have a mb300 and i tried upgrading it to gingerbread form 1.5. I successfully rooted it, but when trying to flash the j_r0dd-mb300-v2.0 recovery it just gave an error something like "not writing bad block error writing recovery No space left on device". I couldnt find a fix for that or even a real explanation to the problem. While i was searching though a found this easy app called 1 click recovery flasher in a forum. I tried flashing with that but it didnt work either. The app had 2 options: one was flashing and the other rebooting. I accidentally touched reboot and it went to the blue "security on fastboot disabled" screen. And now i cant get out of it, not by taking out the battery and waiting and also flashing with rsdllite gives me an error.
    Help!

This is error log i get on rdslite:

no clue what that means, but the recovery included in ROM Manager (it's in the Market) works just fine for flashing CM7...hope you figure it out. someone else will probably have the answer.

It seems you have a bad blocks problem on your flash memory (quite a frequent problem on CliqXT, I don't know if it's also that frequent on Backflips). This issu eprevents you from flashing a recovery (which sucks).

Even flashing the sbf fails because it tried to flash the recovery.

What you will need is to edit the sbf (MotoAndroidDepacker1.3) you are trying to flash and remove the recovery from it (removing the right CG file from it), then repack and flash (and pray for it to work).
Download my 1-click Recovery Flasher to flash a custom or stock recovery to your phone: Cliq, CliqXT, Backflip, ...

There is only one recovery in a phone - it's the menu you get from booting with Pwr+Cam (etc.) keys; stock recovery allows only flashing a file named 'update.zip'. A custom recovery allows flashing a .zip file of any name (custom rom), and also provides backup (nandroid) capability. Choice of which custom recovery to use is of no concern for most people - they all do those two essential things. CWM is a good choice for just about anyone, but I like j_r0dd's too.
