Hi I edit your post to remove your personal info.

But as far as the phone goes, a custom recovery is device specific that is why it wouldn't work when you try to flash one from nexus. Do you know if your device has a locked bootloader?

Can you run these commands separately for us and post the results in a .txt file?

    Code:
    adb shell
    cat /proc/partitons
    cat /proc/mounts
    cat /proc/mtd
    cat /proc/emmc
This will help with the dev tree.

Also, if the bootloader is unlocked, @j_r0dd could possibly help create a recovery, if we ask him nicely

I've called in some help, just time to be patient. Looks good tho so far. First step is custom recovery, then rom. Will take time, but hopefully we can help.

    Run this command

    adb pull boot.img > c:\pantech\boot

You may need to create that directory of you don't have it already, not too familiar with adb and windows.

No that won't work. I will upload the dump_image binary.

    Edit:
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3174573/dump_image
Move it /system/bin. then 'chmod 755 /system/bin/dump_image' or use Root Explorer and make sure it looks like the picture below. Next type on the phone from a root shell or adb shell as root: 'dump_image boot boot.img' we also want the recovery as well so 'dump_image recovery recovery.img'. Hopefully you didn't already flash over the stock recovery because I really need it! That's why I was asking if there was an ota available or a firmware somewhere.

    try this instead 'dump_image boot /sdcard/boot.img' && 'dump_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img'

if that doesn't work we can use dd also.

    dd if=/dev/mtd/mtd0 of=/sdcard/boot.img bs=4096
    dd if=/dev/mtd/mtd2 of=/sdcard/recovery.img bs=4096

I have successfully copied "boot.img & recovery.img" to sdcard. It is taken from the brand new device's firmware (android 2.2.1)
Thank you so much! Please say to me if you need something about A650S. I hope to have SKY custom rom soon
