I recently upgraded Motorola Milestone 2 with Android 2.3.4 via motorola system upgrade
Before that I had froyo android that was installed with the phone when purchased
Is it possible to get back to froyo?
with 2.3.4 too often I get this error The application Home (com.motorola.blur.home process) has stopped unexpectedly.
and gives me the Force Quit button. I tried to reset the phone but did not help.
Before the upgrade I had this version
system version 62.4.24.a953.retail.en.it
firmware 2.2.2
mils2_U6_2.4.24
Now the phone
system version 64.1.22.A935.Retail.en.IT
Android version 2.3.4
Baseband version EPU93_U_00.60.00
Kernel version 2.6.32.9-g7d2667a
Build number MILS2_U6_4.1-22
If there is a possibility to come back to froyo,
I do not know which Firmware Version should I put the phone and how to do.
Or maybe it is possible that with an identical model milestone2 purchased in the same shop at the same time which is still froyo,
backup and then do the backup I put in my phone?
(friend and I bought the same phone, it is not upgraded.)
If I missed the topic
move the post where it belongs, thanks
use a translator,
I hope to understand

Hello all,
I need some european version of sbf, is there anything like this?
Android 2.2.2
Please help me to install this firmware because my Milestone 2 is unusable at the moment, and is 5 days old.
Thank you in advance!

Please describe more clearly "unusable". Also describe what events or procedures may have caused it to reach its present state. Your location, carrier and original firmware ildentification/description would be very useful as well. It may be possible to restore your phone without such drastic action as .sbf flash.
But if the first thing you did is flash the wrong .sbf, your phone, I would not be optimistic.Hic sunt dracones...

Hello,
I install CWM, and trying to do something that i don't know how to do....format something, i think delete the firmware, i don't know what exactly i have done, but the result is that my phone only boots to Motorola logo and the only boot menu that i can boot in, is from holding camera button + volume down + plus power button, but when i have boot into that menu there is a message like "battery is low, can't programming". Before that i have tried to install some SBF files with RSD but always gives me some error messages into RSD program something like "missing some INI file". So i have not flashing the wrong SBF.
I can't give you the information that you need like "carrier and original firmware identification/description " because i cannot boot it and cannot even charge it. My location is Europe, Bulgaria, but when i have buy the phone, 5 days ago it was with Italian language and i think that the Firmware must be Italian not Europe...i don't know. I also want to ask you if i give the phone to some service station, is there any chance to install my original firmware, because only they could charge the phone. I have two years warranty but i don't know if the warranty covers software "damage".
Could you tell me is there a chance that the phone will stay unusable forever, caused on software damage?
Thank you!
