my xt720 bricked :(
I'm stuck at moto logo - boot loop
I had 01.1E.0 version (2.1), and followed Dexter's instructions for 2.2 (v1.1a) and everything worked fine...
I was then testing my camera, and flash in one scene wouldn't fire (cam app was frozen), so I went back to home screen, and shut down my phone...after restart bootloop started to happening
I have only installed milestone overclock (800MHz, 56 vsel, and I haven't even put it to autoload)...
then I flashed from bootloader mode clean 2.1 rom, and with no luck...bootloop is still here
and I can't go to recovery mode (even after flashing 2.1 sbf) so probably some problem is with recovery?
this is what RSD lite says for connected phone (OMAP 3430 interface)
IMEI/ESN/MEID: N / A
Technology: N / A
Software Version: N / A
Flex Version: N / A
Bootloader Version: v0x008089
DRM Version: N / A
AP Die ID: 1100010d5b9c0304000000000400
BP Die ID: 0000000000000000000000000000
AP Public ID: 3d1f91cd43ce2407f4635eb64c28bf60aacdf3e2
BP Public ID: 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000
so is there any way to flash only recovery from bootloader mode?
or somebody else have any solution for this (I already tried to flash non service sbf a few times with no luck)
adb can't recognize device (from bootloader mode)
AND something is really strange
RSD lite recognizes device as OMAP 3430, isn't XT720 omap 3440?!
(I really didn't flash any original milestone ROMS - milestone model has 3430.....)
is there any way to flash open recovery from RSD?
any help would be much appreciated!

Charge your phone for a long time, such as 3 or 5+ hours; not usb connection with PC.
Then pull off your battery; battery added; try to power on nomorally.
This may work.

As you can get this
IMEI/ESN/MEID: N / A
Technology: N / A
Software Version: N / A
Flex Version: N / A
Bootloader Version: v0x008089
DRM Version: N / A
AP Die ID: 1100010d5b9c0304000000000400
BP Die ID: 0000000000000000000000000000
AP Public ID: 3d1f91cd43ce2407f4635eb64c28bf60aacdf3e2
BP Public ID: 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000
that is OK.
Just charge it for a long time and try again. Be patient.

When I restore dexter's blur nand backup, I stuck at moto logo.
OK. The picture below should be what happened to you.
Just charge it and leave it alone for some time. It will boot normolly after some time.
This happens ramdomly to me. Commonly you do need to do anything but charging.

Thank you!
Your instructions were the first thing to knock my cyanogen mod 9 out of a seemingly endless loop of almost one week.
After using your advice the xt720 bfinally was able to load the cyanogen 9.
it's still a little quirky, and the apps market didn't load . any suggestions?
Much appreciation for your input.
