Moto xt701 black sea & droidx rom

Hey guys, here is a nandroid back up of my system which includes themed and modified apps,now remember this is a beta release and i need you guys to report any problems. Im still working on changing the black font to white but hope it doesnt bug anyone.
Credit to Skrilax_CZ for Root and OpenRecovery and Also he_stheone64for the Black sea theme and anybody else that I missed... THANK YOU hope you all enjoy

Installation

Must have open recovery ,download the image of your choice, extract the zip and place the folder in the nandroid/adbrecovery folder in the sdcard
MAKE SURE TO NANDROID BACKUP!
reboot to recovery, nandroid restore
ALSO DO NOT WIPE.. IF YOU WIPE YOU WILL RUN INTO PROBLEMS
this includes the following:
Framework themed with black sea port
Launcher Pro( replaces stock launcher.apk)
MusicMod( replaces stock music player and has different widget sizes available.
MMs.apk(themed and has more settings and text message font size to select.
New LiveWallpapers from the Samsung galaxy( thx kmobs)
Milestone Overclock
Facebook and Twitter themed
Themed HtcIme.apk
AlarmClock( replaced with Nexus Clock)

Got nothing, had one tester and thats it but thank you, i have so much more stuff to share but whats the point when i didnt get any feed back from this lol o well.

i am in. need some patience as im totally new to linux and android. will try to read a few posts to avoid making stupid questions.
will report my experience when finish updating.
Thanks for your work, hope your version fixes a lot of the bugs i am facing with the original motorola version.

Ok. Just Finished rooting and updating the rom. Takes a bit of time to do everything but it is not too complicated. thanks for all the posts with instructions and download links


now my as for your ROM,

I am having problems with the Moto Input method. A sign comes up saying Sorry! The application Moto Input Method (process com.motortola.inputmethod.entry) has stopped to work unexpectedly. Please try again.

I can't really test any further as I don't have any keyboard to write text messages or mails. do you have any idea for a fix?

Ok. Just Finished rooting and updating the rom. Takes a bit of time to do everything but it is not too complicated. thanks for all the posts with instructions and download links


now my as for your ROM,

I can't really test any further as I don't have any keyboard to write text messages or mails. do you have any idea for a fix?

I will update this to fix the input problem. a temp fix is to use root explorer and delete the com.motorola.inputmethod in the system/app( both apk and odex) but also make sure that you change your default keyboard in the settings.Just to let everyone know I have made a droid x version( which will have more modified apps, droidx live wallpapers, bootanimation and multitouch keyboard as well and many others. will post when i have more time.

I can't upload the roms now. I was having some issues with the sd card getting un-mounted from android randomly. I tried replacing the card with no noticeable results

Now when I try to nandroid restore I get:

/bin/nandroid-mobile_adbrecovery.sh -r --noinput -s S-20100704-1905droidx

nandroid-mobile v2.2.1 (milestone port)

Searching dor backup directories. matching S-20100704-1905droidx. to delete or restore or compress

error: unable to mount /sdcard. aborting
Done.


Funny thing is that nandroid backup works perfect.

Any ideas?

did you unzip the folder? the actual file name shouldnt come up as droidx at the end. Maybe thats it?

doesnt work with the droidx keyboard at the moment.
