One thing that I have been reading about for the Defy that is related to the Flipside is short battery life and/or wasted power. The Flipside has a battery that was simply too small. It is something like 1100 mAh. If you look at all the latest LG Android devices, for example, most (or maybe all) of them use a 1500 mAh. battery. My Dext came with a 1400 mAh battery, so it is hard to see why they thought that such a small battery would be enough for the Flipside.

The Defy gets a lot of comments regarding "running hot" which points to wasted power. This is, of course another way of looking at "shortening battery life". Anyway, I was interested in finding the following discussion, and recent notes about "widgits" that might cause problems.
