Unlock BRAVO?

Has anyone found a way to unlock the motorola bravo on Android 2.2?

At the moment it is impossible only by subsidy code

Which if you have AT&T all you have to do is ask and they will give it to you. Ive done it many times with V3re's and Blackberry's.

Hi, i want to buy a Bravo on ebay and unlock it, i can do it with this unlock code ( UNLOCK CODE AT&T MOTOROLA BRAVO MB520 | eBay ) ? it says: THE CODE THAT WE SEND YOU WILL ALLOW YOU TO REMOVE THE SUBSIDY LOCK SO THAT YOU MAY USE ANOTHER CARRIER.

What is a subsidy code? Where do you get it?

The subsidy comes from whatever carrier that the phone is branded to. i.e. the Bravo is an AT&T branded phone so best chance is to get it from AT&T. You will only be able to put in the code if you put another carriers SIM Card into the phone i.e. T-Mobile. So best thing to do is get the
code from AT&T, write it down ledgably and make sure it's right before you hang up with AT&T. Then take your Bravo and remove the back, take out the battery and remove the AT&T SIM Card. Put the new carrier Sim Card into the slot and replace the battery. Now put the back on and
power on the phone. It will boot up and then after the boot screen you will have a pop up asking for your code. Now put it in and press done or OK and it will hopefully unlock. If not call back AT&T and make sure the code is right. Put in the wrong code too many times and you will just
have a really pretty paper weight aka "BRICK".

I hope you get it ASAP, we need fully gingerbread working on our phones.

Have you ever thought that we should try to port some rom from M2 or some other phone, because as we know Defy has many libs for the camera because of the colors in the lens, I think that maybe this is a problem even for DEFY developers.
