    can somebody step me through rooting my charm

    this is my first smartphone and i was hoping some one might help me root my phone t mobile motorola charm mb502 let me know what other info i need to give

    First of all, if it's your first smartphone, is there any reason in particular you are wanting to root it?

    Eitherwho, here is a link to get you started to root. Keep in mind rooting will void your warranty and if you brick your device in the process, no one is responsible but you. There are plenty of guides here to help you root, unroot, etc. Here's the link to root your Charm

    That's an excellent writeup. Thanks, Krishna! We've been needing someone to do that. I assume you're the author - go ahead and post it as a guide in a new thread in this forum - we would appreciate it. (It doesn't hurt to have multiple copies on different sites.) I see shortfuse has gotten the latest version of SuperOneClick uploaded to a different host since MegaUpload was taken down, so it should be smooth sailing now.
