Defy (Euro) on AT&T no 3G
I have a Defy from France here in the States that I am running on AT&T.
Blur 2.51.1mb525retail.en.FR
baseband epu93st2_03.0a.01
I am unable to connect to the H network and wanted to know if it is possible to use a US service flash (ie - JORDN_U3_6.36.0 or other) to resolve this issue. This phone on the Edge network really doesn't do it for me.
Thank you in advance

It is impossible, since AT & T and France use different bands / networks, and is something of Hardware and Software in this case has nothing to do

You can change the baseband files flashing another one from the link below, but I'm not sure it will help you in this specific case as it may be more of a hardware radio issue.

I really appreciate all of your input. My research has definitely been giving me mixed messages.
Looks like the general consensus is that this device just does not have the hardware to support this feature.
I noticed yesterday that BestBuy had a free Nexus S when committing to a two year contract with AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint.
Maybe I'll give that a go.
Thanks again to everyone for sharing your knowledge. Now I can stop chasing my tail and move on.
