This is awesome. Everything working properly. Thanks for the release.

The only problem is that Portuguese (Brazil) is not complete. Most of the Operating System is still in English.

Download and restore nandroid backup made by jBoogie3 from another thread in this forum. I believe JB fixed all languages on that customized gingerbread

How do I go to the Recovery as When I installed Defy Recover 1218-0326 Version for Froyo and Asked Recovery Boot It went to a Continuous Boot Loop and I have to start from the very beginning from Eclair to get to the Gingerbead Version... Use recovery from here: [RECOVERY] DEFY ClockworkMod Recovery - 2.5.1.8 - New Version

Please note: After installing recovery app, open the app and hit install recovery(give permission if requested). Wait until you see 'install success!'

Also you can extract .apk from the connected music player zip and install it normally.

    Hey!

I'm still a little bit lost. My Defy still got the stock 2.1. (My carrier is the only one that didn't release 2.2 -damn!). How shall I proceed?

My device is already rooted. I mainly wanna now wether if I can downgrade to 2.1 or not (from 2.3)-I'm asking this because warrancy policies are so rigid (and stupid)here in my country-. If wes, how can I proceed? (Shall I backup 2.1 using recovery or smtg?)

So then, I guess I'll need first to upgrade (2.2) and then install your ROM, right?

    Glad for your time. Thanks!

Edit: My language is PT-BR - the user above said that his OS wasn't fully portuguese - if then, what do I have to do first? Again: Thanks!

I'd really like to get this on my phone, but when I try to do a nandriod recover it says: (after doing a data/factory reset, and cache wipe.)

    Checking MD5 sums...
    MD5 mismatch!

The files are located on sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/gb (i was originally gingerbread) I thought that may have been causing my problem.

I currently have T-Mobile 2.2 on the phone. The phone is rooted, has 2ndInit, and Rom Manager.

    Ideas?
