    (btw. even if its doest show correct name, when I use that 'national roaming' I have indicator that I'm in roaming now)

    BTW. why this mod its still in 'alpha' not beta ??
    Curious, has it always had a different network name? It could be that your different networks use a different frequency.

    The coding can't be changed much, basically if there any drastic changes to the code to force cm to work on a specific device, cm won't support it officially. They won't make the changes in the code to support the specific device.

    How I miss having CM7 on my phone. There's a few good things I wanna say about this rom.

    First, it's fast. Faster then the leaked gingerbread. It's noticeably snappier then that. Even the internet works faster. For Cliq 2 owners who haven't noticed, 2.2 and 2.2.2 have moments when there's no internet what so ever. Full signal, but no E or 3G. Leaked Gingerbread fixes this, but this CM7 does a more fantastic job of making the internet more reliable. I did wipe the data and cache after flashing.

    This is now my daily driver. If I notice any problems I'll post it here. Also, GPS doesn't seem to have any problems, and connects about the same speed as leaked Gingerbread.

    Agreed. Its amazing, I'm glad it works so well. And its weird. Its almost as if it did something to the radio, because I'm getting signal in places I wouldn't before.

    Also, @wanggjghost, I think I found a bug. When you go to Settings>CyanogenMod Settings>Lockscreen, if you hit "Widget Options", CyanogenMod Settings gives a FC. I can attempt to get a logcat if you'd like one.

    Okay, been playing with the new build...

    3G and H works fine. Does have the same problem I had with the 2.2 & 2.2.2 builds sometimes where it will show it's uploading and hangs there. Quick airplane mode and back fixes it. Not a biggie so far.

    GPS doesn't connect by default, HOWEVER, using this method to fix it I was able to get it working. (I only did steps 1,3 & 4)

    Cannot get wifi tethering to work outside adhoc wifi. Looking in to finding a fix.

    HOWEVER - WIFI CALLING WORKS!

    (Borrowed from Issue 4283 - cyanogenmod - T-Mobile Wifi Calling for Motorola Defy - CyanogenMod Android ROM - Google Project Hosting)

    * Download Kineto WiFi
    * Unpack to a folder on your desktop.
    * Connect your phone to your computer via USB
    * Copy the files to your SDCARD under a folder of your choosing.
    * Using a file manger (I use ES File Explorer) copy these files from your sdcard:
    --- Copy kineto_gan.ko file to /system/lib/modules
    --- Copy all the .so files to /system/lib
    --- Copy the apk file to /system/app
    * Reboot.

    * Once rebooted, in terminal emulator, type:
    su
    insmod /system/lib/modules/kineto_gan.ko
    reboot

    It may FC when you try to connect to it the first time. Go back in and turn it off and back on. Voila!

    Enjoy WiFi Calling!

    Best build yet. Keep up the good work! Let me know if you need anything else tested.

    I didn't have to do anything special to get GPS working, but it did seem kinda slow the second time I used it. It looks like the GPS doesn't remember when you recently connected. Like it's looking for a connecting for the first time every time.

    The gps config is set for europe. probably why it took forever and why it didnt work for me. I did that fix and have zero problems.

    I tried that GPS fix, but I can't touch the gps.conf file. ADB says it's read only, and Astro refuses to delete or replace it. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

    Did you mount as read/write? You might be able to do that in Astro, I'm not sure though. I know you can do it in Root Explorer. I believe the "Adb remount" would also work

    @LordBelialz when you did the GPS fix, were you able to download the file? Cause I'm getting a hosting error whenever I start step 3 and try to download the file

    EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out

    Dang! Nice dedication. Anyway, thanks for finding the fixes for that and Wifi calling. The ROM seems near perfect with all that working now!
