    [apk] Bootmenu installer for cliq2(begonia)

Here is the bootmenu installer for cliq2(begonia), including bootmenu v1.X, modified cmw recovery v5.X(cliq2 special version) and a latest busybox.

This app is based on defy's bootmenu installer source code, and port/modify by me, thanks for the origin author(see credits in app).

It will download about 3MB data from internet when install the bootmenu, so please open your WIFI or GPRS.

I tested it on stock 2.2.2, and it works OK.

I love you. Wish I could send a thanks from tapatalk

sent from my rooted cliq2 running gingerbread by eccentric vision development.

Would you believe no love on 2.3.4? Really think I am going to just have to nuke and pave but at least I have an easy way of doing it again

I just wanted to say I love this. Been trying for a few weeks when I have the time to get the 2ndinit on my phone or the gingerbread leak, with no succes. Until now :-) this seems to work like a charm. I now have no more of the crappy blurr rom on my phone and am running the cm7 from this site. Thanks a lot for the hard work you and the devs do on this site. I patiently waited for this and here she is!

Cm7 is working just fine on my device so far. Came from rooted stock 2.2.2. Must say the speed difference with cm verse the stock is definitely noticable. I play a game called overkill and with cm it doesn't tell me my performance is low to swith lower definition graphics!

I installed [Mod] Big Update! 2ndInit! and [ROM] Unofficial CyanogenMod Port for Cliq2 (pre-alpha5) (2011-11-04). Can I install it? Please help me install it step by step.

You dont want to install it if you are running cm7 already.

Um, dummy here - so install-apk with adb, enable wifi or OTA data, run app, reboot to CWM to install Cyan? I'm guessing the CM7 port by the 2 ghosts mentioned in HOW TO INSTALL - STEP BY STEP - THE 2ndINIT/CM7 PORT TO YOUR CLIQ2 is the one to use.

And has anyone verified if it works on other than 2.2.2?

@dlamber7 These 2 threads should have been stickied long ago - or am I missing something?

This thread should be a sticky. The apk is hard to find for others, and I've had more luck installing ICS roms with this then Terminal 2nd Init.

The above is the 2nd init apk file for the motorola defy. It should work for cliq 2. But let someone more knowledgeable confirm this before you download. I would try but I'm on 2.3.6....

That apk installs the defy recovery, which doesn't work on the CLIQ 2.
