UPDATED 2/15/2012 [ROM] [Leak] Gingerbread 2.3.4 Firmware 2.0.84 (8/19/11)

Dukenukemx I dont think its this rom in particular. I was in a tmobile store doing some work on their alarm the other day and a few people had come in with c2s and were complaining about the same type things with the 2.2 rom on it. It is more than likely just good old motorola.

Well, I used my GPS today and it's beeping again, instead of talking. I'm tempted to try the CM7 rom, once the new version comes out. I'm sure my problems will vanish if I wipe the phone, but then wouldn't it degrade eventually? It's CM7 or bust!

i keep on getting error 7 when ever i try to install this rom im using 2ndInit for installing this rom i wipe the phone and try to install it and all i get is error 7

This rom needs to be installed via stock recovery. The install instructions in the OP guide you on the installation process for this tim and how to get into stock recovery.

Ok yes it has gotten off topic.... I am going to start deving again......

Update on my status though im doing better..... still hurt and fighting with insurance companies....my email has been messed up.... I am trying to fix it....

BTW its hard to avoid california plates.... as I live in california........

I should have it the latest release done this weekend......

I also tried stock recovery but also gave me error 7 my rom is still stock so I don't know my phone is also rooted I don't think that should interfere but asking is a good idea

To install this, you need to be on a completely stock 1.1.30 firmware with all the bloatware still intact. It works best without having Slightly Blurry installed, as that rom is deodexed and this Leak is not. You WILL encounter force closes if you do not use a stock 1.1.30 release.

Copy update.zip to root of your sd card.

To install, enter stock recovery by holding down X and Power until you see the Android and Exclamation Point. Close the keyboard and press the Volume Up, Volume Down, and Camera Keys (use volume keys to navigate and power button to select). Scroll to Wipe Data/Factory Reset and press Power. Scroll to Wipe Cache and Select Power. Scroll to Apply update.zip and press power. This will install GingerBread.

You have to be stock to flash this can't be rooted to flash

Before the 2.3.4 update, i had zero issues connecting to wifi, and could search any available networks that picked up on the wi-fi scan. Two days ago i updated to 2.3.4 and had issues connecting to wi-fi. My phone cannot find the wi-fi at my job, the network is not hidden, and similar devices can find it as well. Before updating i could connect to this wi-fi.
Btw i dont have problem connecting to any other wifi, the only place i cant connect is at my job.

Any ideas ?
