I installed leaked gingerbread 1st then deodexed gingerbread. It seems wifi is less stable and battery stats is a little bit off.

[MENTION=3270181]ericsicle[/MENTION] yes need to wipe data/cache while in custom recovery, and needs to be done prior to installing rom. Cwm doesn't officially support c2 yet, maybe it never will. So that means it can't be installed thru rom manager.

Stop asking for when the next one is coming he just got this one out give him time to work with it some more and that way when we do get the next version it will be well polished and have much less bugs then something rushed would have, and trust me the more you ask for it the more they will want to either rush it to make you happy or not want to do it because your being demanding.

So, I installed this earlier today. However, I didn't have time to download all of my apps and stuff back to my phone. When I got home today I tried to download them. None of the apps would download, it would just give me an error saying it was unsuccessful and to try again, so I would. The same thing would happen. So I tried reinstalling the ROM. Now I'm getting the same error, and for some reason I'm on the older market. I tried clearing the cache and data, so that didn't fix it.

And, I keep getting errors saying Google Talk authentication failed.

Any ideas on whats happening and how I can fix it?

Did you install gmail? Installing gmail app seems to break the market app. If you did then uninstall the gmail app and just setup your gmail account with the basic email client left in the rom. Before that you will need to do a factory data reset from within 2ndinit bootmenu options. Just wipe your data and cache and reboot and don't ever install the gmail app. V0.0.2 will have this bug fixed.

Hey sorry everyone been busy. I am just but done with the rom. Hope to have it done sometimes today if no more drama happens........ The reboot button has been put off to a later release as it keeps bricking my phone. I will try one more way but it looks like no go. I am also working on a completely aosp rom.

A lot of devs prefer not to be asked about release dates. They really have no way of giving specific dates because the smallest change in a ROM they're working on could cause serious issues. Like Tatted trying to add a Reboot button in the Power Menu. He has bricked his phone numerous times just trying to add that one little option.

It's just best not to ask about any release dates lol. Some devs have been known to stop working on stuff because people ask that. It's well known on most Android dev forums to stay clear of asking that lol. Llok at other threads for other devices and you'll see that a lot of the devs will warn people not to ask about release dates or anything like that or they'll stop working on it.

I was not pointing fingers but the fact is that you assuming that it is you that is being the one and only one who is pointedly "demanding" shows that at least at a subconscious level you know you were being demanding even if it was in a polite manor. I am also required to analyze and understand the way people write for my psych class just so you know how I might accredit this discussion. As well I would like to point out that asking anyone for an approximate time for a finished product while developing a rom is very discourteous and because I think highly of our devs I wanted to post a quick general warning that it might not be a good idea to harass the developers that is all.

No, I havent installed the gmail app yet. But I'll try the factory reset thing and see if that fixes it.

Edit: That fixed it! Thanks so much!

Edit #2: I'm not sure if its the ROM, or somethings wrong with my phone, but when I restarted my phone, the problems started happening again. (Couldn't download apps, google talk authentication failed) it was like my phone wasn't reading the data correctly. All I had to do to fix it was reboot the phone again. Figured I'd post this incase it happens to anyone else.

i am downloading now.i want to try it but i will probably go back to the leak.i am one of the crazy people that really like blur.that's why i got the cliq 2 because i loved the orig cliq.but i think my mother in law finaly killed my orig cliq(thats what i get for letting her use it)
