Ugh hopefully the camcorder will get fixed soon its one of the odd things you need on occasion. But still great work so far and props to the dev for what he has done so far. Its an amazing rom so far.

found a mms.apk that does not compress the pictures so they look nice, of course ics themed,
get it here:Mms.apk - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download - jose ortiz
just replace yours with this one and change permission to rw-r--r-- then reboot, backup the original just incase!!!!

not problems sending but the apk compress the pictures and they look really bad just brick my phone trying to install wificall mess up the buid prop, already try my back up, no luck gonna try to go back to the leak lets see!!!!!!

ugh good luck! I couldnt get a nandroid made so far. Love seeing myself and others having problems with the phones. Means we have dev going on if we have beta testing going on

well, already on the leak rom had to rsd lite back to 1.1.30 didnt even try to go straight to the leak cause on the thread says the rom u r has to be odex for the leak to work and cm9 is not so had to do what i ha to do, gonna leave it for now like that, switch back to my g2 with MIUI, keep working on the cliq on the weekend

I agree this rom is running great so far aside from the GPS which is already fixed and the @ key which doesnt really bother me the camcorder is the only thing I regret not having, I'm sure there are other small things but overall this rom feels great.

Gunshin fu I agree the op has done an awesome job getting it to run as smooth as it does on the "non-native" hardware. And if his prior work is any indication he will have it running perfect in almost no time.

Problem with opera mobile, multiple wallpaper and business calendar, low battery performance, battery indicator change state by 10% not like in CM7 by 1%, red/green charging led always on.
Definitely should be in development section not in ROM forum.

Anyway how to back to CM7 now?

Well if I recall correctly you have to sbf back to 2.2 then to 2.2.2 then go from there. You will have to find the cm7 thread and double check. And as far as cm7 goes was everything there working?

Hello everyone! Sorry I dont chime in much, but I had to here. I have been running this rom for about a week now V2. This ROM is fantastic! Snappy, quick, fast and awesome. Did I mention it is fast? I am gunna list bugs, not flaming at all just listing my experiences and if someone can help me get logs I would appreciate it. I would love to learn a bit about this so I can help. Ok my requests to have fixed (PS I am willing to help!).

1: I dunno if I am THAT NOOB but I have attempted the keyboard fix and it keeps replacing itself with the original file, I mounted R/W, deleted the sim link, copied file from sd, changed permissions, mounted R/O, rebooted and the original link to the begonia file is there (which I cannot find that file to edit BTW, it says its in the same folder!! )

2: when you restart to recovery it doesn't work, just goes straight to OS (BIG WHOOP, once again I am not flaming, this dev is the MAN and TY TY TY for it alllll )

3: Wifi Tether (trust me I understand the implications, I have had to do stuff like this under linux and its a PAIN)

3: Now this one hurts me a bit But I deal! I play order and chaos and sometimes at random after longpressing for awhile, my finger no longer registers. Just to explain, I am not THAT NOOB , I did some testing. One would say that it was my finger heating that area up and it either gets stuck or doesn't register. This is not the case because of 2 reasons, sometimes I cannot drag icons on my desktop they popup and then just drop back down (I think its how longpresses are handled maybe) and I have installed multitouch vis test to test this. I am in a cold room and the phone runs stable and cooler than before. I once had it happen even from bootup so I went into multitouch vistest and started playing around. When this occurs I longpress and the dot shows after 2 seconds the dot disappears, if I leave my finger still it does not appear, if I move my finger it appears but as a tapping pattern tracing the line of my finger. This doesnt happen all the time and after awhile it just fixes itself, like I said if someone could help me use grep or anything like that I am more then willing to help with debugging. I am just totally new to android dev but am learning.

ramchip, both of your number threes I can give feedback on: There's probably a way to get wifi tether to work via adhoc mode with a "non-native" app such as android-wifi-tether - Wireless Tether for Root Users - Google Project Hosting . I don't know the exact settings that would be necessary to achieve a successful tether, but if anyone does I would greatly appreciate if you shared the knowledge.

EDIT: Wifi tether definitely works with the app that I just linked. So essentially the only thing that is missing from this rom is 100% camera stability.

As for a touch point getting "stuck", I don't think it's rom specific, because I've had that issue in the official roms, the leak, and every other rom I tried.

Ahhh yes I do have that working for wifi, would just love to be able to click that little button. BUTTONS RULE!!! Now for the touch screen issue, this is the first time I have ever experienced that. I have also flashed back to CM7 when it first happened and it appears to be ROM specific, I know NOTHING about this but in my mind maybe the kernal is not keeping up with the hardware and is loosing information from the stack?
