Thanks for the list. I havent done much with the phone lately and actually just booted it up and getting ready to wipe and hunt for something to drop on it and this makes it a lot easier.....
Also I think a mod should make this one a sticky.Last edited by alarmdude9; 11-25-2012 at 07:34 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Question about this 4.x MIUI ROM. Which kernel does it need (white or red Motorola logo) and which Android version is it exactly?
- 12-26-2012, 09:13 AM #5
2.3 kernel (Red M). Android 2.6.8. MIUI 4.0.
591 "transplanted" it from http://bbs.chinapader.com/thread-108392-1-1.html, which fails translation.Last edited by Saurus; 12-26-2012 at 09:15 AM.

Thanks. Does Play Store work in it (ulike tatted's rom)?
- 12-27-2012, 09:02 AM #7
I wouldn't know. I'm still trying to break the official 2.3.6.
It's a Chinese rom; I'm not sure they even have access to Google's products.Hic sunt dracones...

As I tested all G services worked fine.Thanks. Does Play Store work in it (ulike tatted's rom)?

Play Store force closes. BTW question does the white/red kernel support loop devices? I'm trying to run Linux on my cliq2.

I believe the Cliq 2 does support loop devices (link2sd works fine, as it requires that you mount a second partition off your sd card) but I don't believe the Cliq 2 supports mounting ext2/3/4 filesystems. I've attempted to run linux on both kernels and several ROMS, without much luck. I could be wrong though (and secretly hope I am, because then I could run a desktop linux distro on my beloved cliq 2
), so let me know how it goes for you.

For me it fails when mounting using any Linux manager. Tested nearly everything here. When mounting it says "no such device". When created dirs, still fails.

C2 is not on the supported list, but you won't know unless you try. I'm skeptical, though; I didn't recognize any single-core phones on the list.
Ubuntu for Android | Devices | Ubuntu - requires dual-core and docking capability for HDMI.
And since we're off-topic here, please start a new thread to discuss it further.Hic sunt dracones...

This is android 4.1.1 and it is working perfect for me on my cliq 2, I found the link in this thread (post# 14):

@KILTIN Is it a CWM backup or flashable update.zip, as @esatapedico suggests -
Chinese did it again 4.1 Jellybean
@sinusq You should add it to the OP when we determine this.Hic sunt dracones...

yap, I didnt add it till now cuz I read that it works for s.one, and doesnt for others, and roms posted before are stable enough for daily use.
but as I see more people saying that it gonna work so I will add it, after we confirm that case. (maybe I will try this either
)
