[EXP] CyanogenMOD 7.1 for Atrix (Ba2tF)

Can't wait til this is marked as an Official Mod and we can get updates via ROM Manager. This is my first Rom on my Atrix 4G and I do believe it will be my only rom. I've been using this since Beta #2 and I am extremely happy with it. I get occasional glitches, where the phone will not return from screen lock and randomly reboots for no apparant reason, but they are minor issues and occur very seldom.

Although I do have to say - the framerate in the viewfinder for the camcorder is horrendously slow on my phone...anyone else have this issue? It almost seems like it's running at half-speed. Video's record fine...just the viewfinder framerate that's bad.

Either way - Kudos to turl! Can't wait your final release and when this becomes "official" xP

It might be worth doing a full wipe/reinstall. Backup your apps using Titanium Backup (and your texts using GoSMS, if you care) and restore them afterwards. Sometimes things just don't install quite right.

Yah...I intend on doing that when the first non-beta release comes up so I can make sure I'm running without any hitches, period. Sometimes some of these issues an be choked up to Beta-Blues... And a wipe may or may not necessarily fix it. Then again the same can be true about something that's in "release" too lol.

So I flashed this onto a buddy's atrix, wiped system, data and cache before flashing, installed no problem, however I'm having problems with market.

Initially when it's flashed the "old" market appears and works fine, but updates itself to the new market. Once it's on the new market it force closes typically within 5-7 seconds and I have not figured out a way to prevent this yet. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I was having a similar problem. Download ROM Manager (can be the free version) and run "Fix Permissions," then reboot. It should take about 5 minutes and fixed my force-closes.

For those having trouble with market, try reselecting your language on Settings -> Language & Keyboard

It doesn't say that, it says ¬B^¬N

Try to download the zip again, you might have gotten a corrupt download. Also, what CWM are you using? You need either ROM Manager's one (listed on the post here too if you want to fastboot manually) or romracer's.

With a little of propositional logic you can guess ¬B^¬N means 'not beta and not nightly'

Regarding stopgap, it's a standard English word:

stop·gap [stop-gap]
noun
1. something that fills the place of something else that is lacking; temporary substitute; makeshift: Candles are a stopgap when the electricity fails.

It basically means it's a newer release in the interim, before nightlies start rolling.

Okay, I had thought that was what the BN meant, but I was reading the stopgap as stop g-app and I didn't see how it made sense to stop the gapps.

I tried to look around, but I'm not seeing what the difference between this build and nightly as far as the bug fixes go? Will the next nightly have the same bug fixes as this build does?

Sounds like your atrix bootloader is not unlocked. You need to unlock it to install any ROM
