I can't seem to get this working. I'm assuming this is installed just like any other rom. I have an unlocked Atrix, with AT&T, and I installed the zip via CWM recovery. The installation process follows through without giving me any error messages. The problem is, when I reboot after installation, my phone never boots past the "unlocked" screen. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

If you go to the xda forums and find samcripp's fruitcake thread there is a 2.3.4 stock sbf that can be flashed via cwm. I personally factory reset, flash that, reboot to recovery, reset again then flash cm7. Just my 2c.

Thanks for the quick reply, but it turns out I needed the custom cwm recovery (found here [Unlocked Only][RECOVERY][2011-08-12] Custom CWM-based Recovery 4.0.1.4-atrix3 - xda-developers) for it to work properly. Thanks again though.

my radio has just died :S
no signal, shows the 'x' sign
when i go to mobile networks and search it finds 'Rogers' , but selecting it is useless
i tried formatting, reflashing..
Turl:
I just found the prob i put it in another phoen and it asked for the sim unlock code that I set a few days ago (on CM7 itself)
and i unlocked it on that phone
so i guess CM7 on the atrix isnt prompting me for the sim unlock code, cause it boots right in and shows no signal...i suppose this is a bug I should report
and I did:

Yes, the RIL (Radio Interface Layer) is hacked up as of now to be useful at least. This means everything related to the SIM card unlocking doesn't work, that is, SIM PIN codes won't work and you won't get a signal if you have one set up.

Hello, really trying to get a proper answer, before investigating atrix cm7
But why is the old gapps for android 2.3.4, recommended instead of the android 2.3.5 gapps?

First of all, I don't think you should do that, in my case I would just flash latest apps, secondly that is the Nexus One forum thread do I don't think Nexus doesn't have to so anything with the Atrix.

But if you read it, it had the latest official gapps for nightlys as in android 2.3.5 (just under), rather than rc cm7 gapps which is being recommended here, however it's for android 2.3.4, as that's cm rc.
And as we all know gapps are gapps, and really doesn't matter that much which phone I get a post from, especially if it links to cyanogen web site, gapps list.Last edited by nitrox1; 08-13-2011 at 03:20 PM.

Yes have many times.
Did you?
" Latest gapps in goo-inside.me - gapps downloads is still 0613 which you are not wrong. But there was a link in that site that shows 0729 also.
Check this out http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110729-signed.zip "
This it the correct 2.3.5 gapps package.
But personal preference I guess.

Latest stable/rc CM7 published is 2.3.4 so the link is correct. Also read
That's the real reason for using the older ones. Anyway, with the arrival of gingerbread to more devices there are now libs for tegra and other non-neon phones; probably the gapps packages will be updated to include the non-neon files with 7.1 (if the not recommended one doesn't include them already). It contains all of the applications updated for 2.3.4, but does not include the new Google Talk with video chat due to there being no compatible library available for non-ARM7 and non-neon board devices, from Google or another OEM.

Turl I got a little problem. Can CM7 work without a physical external SD Card inserted in the phone. Mine stopped working so I threw it out
but it seems all apps now say SD Card not mounted, they are not looking in the /mnt/EMMC directory (which is the sd card im usually used to having, 16gb)
i wiped, reflashed, and still I cant do anything that involves accessing the 'SD card'
anyway to rename EMMC to SDCARD , because I assume thats what everything looks for
awaiting your kind reply
