CM7 Coming soon with 2.3 Gingerbread!!
That's right!! CM7 in the works

The Devs at Cyangogen have been working on Gingerbread 2.3 for a few weeks now.
If you would like to test one of the "Nightly's" on your device, check out
CyanogenMod or Download for your Device HERE.
Please remember to report any bugs encountered while using the Nightly builds. All efforts will be taken to produce a fully functional stable build

Thats great guys. anyone post your experience here along with phone model. Im waiting for a few more tweaks on the Aria nightly before i give it a go

Cm7 running 100% on HTC HD2 only problem is 720p video recording other than that Gingerbread build for HTC HD2 is great. remember that not all apps are compatible with gingerbread. i had a few fc's and weather widget issue but all solve now and been running clean. also remember to let battery drain fully first time to see what real battery usage is on recharge. i'm at 4ma in standby and 7ma running so that is very good.

FINALLY!! the wait is over. first stable mod released tonight CM7 RC1.
i will make a new thread for this later. first i must test it out and hopefully take some screenies

Give it a lil while. you'll have official CM support for your shift in no time.
As for me, seems they were trying, but since HD2 isnt a native android phone, there is alot of hoops to jump to, and Cyanogen doesnt want to risk getting another cease and desist order from google, or atlease thats what his team stated to a few of us that were trying.
