ATT HTC Aria 2.2.2 Rooted kinda ?

Hi im new to this I have been trying to research as much as I can not to ask question that have be answered many times over. I ran AlphaRevX to get S-Off took me a few ties had driver and pc conflicts no biggie, so now my Htc Aria 2.2.2 says S-OFF! But was hoping to Nandriod! But I cant back up or use clockworkmod ect I beleave it to be because when I run root checker in basic mode I get not rooted, but in advanced mode I get...

AlphaRev will only give you S-Off. you must install Clockwork next to gain Nandroid backup/restore.
there are a few different ways to install Clockwork properly. the easiest i believe is using the program Android Flasher. Simply download ClockworkMod.zip and use a program such as WinRAR or 7Zip to extract the .zip file to a folder, then connect phone to PC, run Android Flasher on PC and select "Recovery". now navigate to the extracted folder and open "Recovery.img". it will install CWM, when finished the phone will automatically boot into Recovery.

you can either install SU.apk now, or flash a custom ROM which already has SU installed. thats it!!
