Hello and Welcome, current users of the Elocity A7 7" Android Tablet, and those with interests in this device.

We presently have an unofficial ClockWorkMod Recovery to assist with the patching, backup/restoring roms and data(actively being updated). You may also find solutions for GAPPS+Market.

Additional projects are being worked on; cwm recovery compatible loadable rom.



The a7 presently ships with rooted Android 2.2(Froyo). This unit does have WiFi, but does not have 3G/Cell service, and like many other tablets without a service provider the unit does not come shipped with Google Apps or Google Market, but it does come shipped with Getjar and Appoke.

Boot and Recovery are presently unavailable from standard android services, but can be updated with the manufacture's factory recovery, as well as with NVidia's APX Flash software.

This fine budget android tablet is sold in the US by a company known as 'Stream TV Networks, Inc.' founded in Philadelphia in 2009.

The A7 is originally manufactured by a company known as Compal, a Taiwanese manufacturer founded in 1984. They're known for manufacturing laptops for major name brands such as; Acer Inc., Dell, Toshiba, Hewlett-Packard, and Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
