Ok sorry about the short post before. But when i run the "motosetup.exe" it opens and begins it load up or all the code. First error is "Run-time error '440': Automation error" in " XTabs" i hit ok. Next is "Run-time error '0'" in "vbalExplorerBarLib" i hit ok. Now it follows with one more "Run-time error '440': Automation error" in "motosetup" it hit ok and the whole program closes out. whats up, and i'm running Vista ultimate as my OS. Thanks in advance.

i'm having errors too but for me the error report states that the eclecticcomponents.ocx may be outdated...where can i get that anyway...nevermind...i'll just stick to other softwares...

hey i tried using this tool to get the security password of my rokr e8 back. The software installed perfectly. Since my rokr is locked with a password and i happen to forget my security code too it starts the with screen where it asks for the password. On connecting to the computer, it detects a removable disk but cannot access it. On running Motosetup the phone aitoatically disconnects from the computer.

P.S. I particularly remember changing the default security and unlock codes but disregarding that i tried the default unlock codes 000000, 1234 with no luck.

try to flash the phone... its the easy way to get the default codes again.
