Hangs when clicking "reply"

Hi all,

My lil sis is having problem with her Rokr E1 phone.
everything works fine except for the text messaging feature.
everytime the reply button is clicked, the phone stops responding.
We'd have take the battery off and restart the phone again.

im thinking of "flashing"(i dont know if its the right term) the phone myself. ive read all the guides in here but my problem is - Im stuck at the "getting connected" phase. The P2K tool always says that its disconnected.

what should i do to remedy this? ive already installed the correct drivers for the phone but im still not able to make the p2k tool to recognize my phone..

If ever i get to connect the phone properly, what should i do to remedy the messaging problem?

hye.... u can try to reset ur phone... go to phone setting and then master reset it.... the unlock code is set 12345 or 00000, if u not change it.. my v3i also have a same problem... if this step is not help u, u can flash ur phone with other firmware...

Don't confuse the guy with wrong unlock codes, check the specifications book that came with ur mobile. Also, did u do any flashing or something for ur mobile

The default security code is 00000000
So you can do a resest before you flash as it may just need it
Flashing is easy just look through the guides (link at the top of the page)

@vishh_83 : no i havent tried flashing it yet... ill definitely try it if resetting it wont solve the problem...
