Problem with SoundMoto
Problem Solved! I used P2K Commander, and it allowed me to transfer the file to the phone. What a huge difference changing a file makes! The sound is now comparable to my Axim X50V. Thanks guys, finding this website made my week

Hi guys,
I am having some problem with SoundMoto. I am trying to increase the volume of the earphones for my L9, instead I made it worse! Now I can hardly hear anything!
I was following this guide:-link
However when I try to save it to the phone, I get this error message:-
I also can't seem to browse the files on my phone via P2KTools VS, all the other functions seem to be working (menu editor, etc), and the phone is detected!Code:ERROR! Unknown sound params!
BTW I first installed Motorola Phone Tools from the included cd, then installed the drive from the Motorola website (here is the link where I got it from:-link)
Thank you
I have been messing around, and it seems that any changes that I made are not saved to the phone (using P2KTools VS).
And another thing that I find really irritating is that when I first plug the phone to the USB port, it recognizes it as an USB Storage Device, I have to wait a couple of mins before P2KTools or SoundMoto can connect to the phone. Am I missing something? Or do I have to do this everytime? (Hopefully not!)Last edited by devx; 07-31-2008 at 12:02 AM. Reason: Problem Solved

first off welcome to M3!
have you attempted to change the default connection method to data connection?
im still looking to finnish the guide for motosound but if you want to use the file manager for p2ktoolsVS3 you must set it to only read one disk at a time!USING AN UNMODDED PHONE; GO INTO THE MAIN MENU THEN SELECT "SETTINGS" - "CONNECTION" - "USB SETTINGS" - "DEFAULT CONNECTION" THEN SET THE PREFERRED CONNECTION METHOD (DATA CONNECTION)
hope this helps!
