An unusual question
guys is it possible to convert .jpg files to .jar files.....so that it can be viewed as an application....(just thought of saving some meomory......) ??????????

id say theres realy no point in reducing the quality of a jpeg for the sake of saving memory (IMO)
now, are we saving it to the transflash (microSD) or the phone?
the only other alternative that i can think of is upgrading your device to something that can take SDHC! (currently not happening for the L9/L72 as the max is 2gb)

O M G! i cant believe 2gb is rather small!!! i remember when 128mb was kickin' OOPS! i suppose i could rant in another thread!
hahaha

Yes it can be converted, but FYI it wont save any memory for you, rather it will increase it.

there are some websites which has L9 java applications. After installing it,we can view pictures as a slide show.it looks cool...i have tried this using command prompt but that jar file showed application error after installing.
Also it shows the same error if i edit(insert my pictures instead of theirs) those existing .jar applications.
So is there any guides for making an application.
thanx
