have you downloaded USB drivers from the downloads section? or maybe the prt isnt working. or maybe virus prevents u from recognising connected devices.

if u are connecting to a hub, then try connecting to a diff port on the MB. or try it at a friends place. try connecting a pen drive to the smae port where ur phone isnt detecting. that way u can isolate which thing exaclty has a problem.

well, i dont think that he would be using a USB hub as he mentioned his PC is new
Driver installation is already done
is all this does not suffice, should we start thinking about a loose connection in the phone jack???

maybe the USB wire has a problem the USB connector on the phone isnt susceptible to improper working, its sturdy.
umm, @satish wat is ur PC OS? is it windows 7? is it 32 bit? or 64 bit? because all the three mentioned things have different ways of installing drivers.

sometimes we are so engrossed into a mathematical calculation that we tend to neglect some minute details like 2+2 which can make the whole calculation go wrong!!!

well, i cannot see any problem with the phone....
did you try connecting it with any other pc??
check if it works, this would let us know if the problem is with the phone or with your pc....make sure the other pc has proper drivers installed
good luck!
