    Need Help With SLVR L9, Keyboard

    My Motorola SLVR L9 is malfunctioning since the last 2 days. The phone remains on but not a single button in keyboard works. I am able to receive calls but cannot answer them as the buttons don't function. The strange thing is i can switch the phone on by pressing the end button/power on key. But after its on, i cannot access any of the functions as the Keyboard doesn't work at all. i tried removing the battery and put it back but it didn't work either. In this case should i flash my phone or is it a hardware failure? Kindly assist me.

    You might want to try to disassemble and clean everything. I think the keyboard IC has gone bad. Had you performed any seem modding?

    Also, keep in mind, if you are in warranty, dissembling might void it.

    I haven't made any modding to SLVR L9, I would look into the Keyboard IC issue and my phone is 4 years old so no worries about losing the warranty.

    @thetuxracer
    good to see you're still around here.
    It probably is a HW issue. But I'd not try to clean it myself. Get professional help.
