Hey modders listen.

I need to know the perfect video settings to convert a video in MP4 format. any video I convert lags in sound after 10 minutes and any video more than 30 minutes lags in both video and sound. so can you dudes plz tell me the perfect video encoding settings.



the other thing is that I wanna know if there are different settings for EDGE as for GPRS. If no, can u guys tell me how can I activate EDGE in my phone.

I use opera for browsing, I can open any kind of page in opera right, so I can browse any sites OK, BUT, if I try to download any file other than JPEG, sound n video, the inbuilt browser opens and shows me that the page cannot be displayed. So heres the glitch, can u dudes tell me how to download any file format to our phone.

I use total video converter or something called audiovideo_to_exe. the former has good settings for 3gp or mp4 the latter just encodes videos but just the shorter <10 min ones...

edge comes inbuilt with the phone so the icon should show if your carrier supports it...the websessionsettings on the other hand have to be obtained from your carrier

Just a suggestion, why don't you try to split your long videos into parts. I don't think a software could cause those sort of errors of initially working well & then getting spoilt. Probably its the phone, that may not be able to handle videos that long.

Setting as far as the phone goes remain the same. You have to select the desired WebSession, thats it. The phone will then decide EDGE/GPRS depending on availability.
Ask your Operator, there should be different plans for EDGE & GPRS.

I am using Opera Advanced & that can download pictures/sound/video/java. What more type of files do you want to download on the phone?
