This is a great firmware, thank You for it, but i have a little problem with SMS wrinting, when i start the word with R this happens what You can see this screenshot:
Similar things happen with some another characters.(not all...)



Can somebody tell me what made i wrong under the flashing procedure, and how can i resolve this problem?

Gee, that looks messy!
This could be due to a number of reasons, such like custom font (but the font looks like default Moto font), iTAP setting etc.
Try this, before you start typing a message press the # key to change to TAP mode, old style letter by letter entering with word completion still on. My prefered method, I hate this iTAP just takes me too long. But this is just personal opinon.

Thanks for Your advice, i tried it, but nothing changes. When i select the letter R or Q or one of the another letters the thing is the same what You see in the previous screenshot. If i continue the writing, the words are coming and i can write normally, but this is very annoying.
I don't know what is wrong, i tried to copy my language from an another pack, but this thing don't changes.

It is possible a font problem? I'm new to Moto Modding and i don't have any ideas what can i do to resolve this problem.

I tried it and found it very impressive!
But is it possible to return to 'normal RSA A3.CF' after flashed no_RSA A3.CF in case I wanna try another MP! Thanks in advance!

Try a different firmware, see sticky firmware thread for choice, make sure it is for your V8, 512MB or 2GB, and that it is an unlocked firmware. Don't bother about the bootloader as the no_rsa a3.cf bootloader will work with any other firmware.
If you still have that problem then it could be a hardware fault, like sticky buttons or so. If you do not have that problem then we have to figure out what causes this behaviour. This is the first time I heared about something like this. Sometime a reflash also helps.

Sure you can return to "normal" signed a3.cf bootloader, but the no_rsa a3.cf bootloader wil also work with any other "normal" signed firmware.

Thank You very much for Your efforts, i reflashed it many times, and tested with 3 different language packs, fonts, settings, but the error remains. After that i tried Your another project, the Basic Plus firmware and i am very happy now, that works perfectly, i flashed the pack, and the language pack, and now the SMS system works like the orginal firmware, i don't find any errors.

I do like very much a skin named Scarlet for the V8 in the website ************ and I have downloaded it on my comp, but it looks like impossible to be transferred... any idea? thanks and a big kiss by Irynka...

I saw an exactly the same problem regarding post somewhere else. In that it was explained by the language coding utf-8. I have not a clue what this is about, well, I know what they were talking about, but could not make any "problem" connection to the firmware so far.
OK, just tried it myself. After 161 characters I get in the top right corner the following message SMS:161/2. So I made it then 170 characters and send it to me (from one V8 to another) and I got just one message with all 170 characters. Both V8 say one SMS send and one SMS recieved.

Are you sure it is a V8 skin?
Have not heared of this skin so far, but if you could name that place in a different way, like this mostly know russian forum or so then i can go and have a look myself.

international characters count 2 for one, because they use utf-8 encoding. so, if you write 160 international character long SMS, it will be sent as 320 or more character SMS (multi-page; several SMSes).

I know this thing, but when i used the phone with the original firmware it worked for me good. I used the iTAP function with national characters, and the phone sent it as one sms.

I think it was a modified (localized) firmware with fully functional iTAP and after i send the message the phone converted the national characters back to normal sms characters and sent the sms as a normal sms. I readed this info an another forum, but i don't know the solution. Somebody said the phone must be sent to a service and the service can make this modification. But i don't know what kind of modification, i think it is somewhere in the firmware.

If it is in iTAP then you can flash your "local" LP on Basic Plus , aka CG46.

I found a "Scarlet-Original" skin on page 22 under Motorola RAZR2 V8 Themes, but that is a P2K phone skin for 176x220 screen, like V3. No way will that ever work on V8 with Linux OS.
Sorry, but that skin is for a completely different phone and even then I doubt that would work,a P2K skin with only 3 dat files is just not enough.
