say i can't flash my phone......when i begin to upload the bootloader the rsd tell me there is a error...
the a3.cf bootloader is a .sbf file and the new bootloader the a3.cf no rsa is a .shx this is correct? or this is the problem?

say I search a little and found that the evo 3 have a no rsa bootloader a3.cf in .sbf format.

the .shx its fake or what? or i just begin tricket?

Dear community: I'm having a hell of a time trying to get my contacts back... I went from LiMo3 to to Basic Plus and keep getting an empty contacts screen after restoring. Also my texts are gone.... Interestingly, putting my contacts into LiMo5 was no problem, just getting them into BP is not doing good.

I did my LiMo3 backup.
I copied this to PC
I flashed Basic Plus
I created a backup with BP's application
I stored this backup on PC and replaced the main.db & profile folder & the other file with my LiMo3 stuff
I used the application to restore.

It rebooted nice and slowly and when it was done--no contacts. Suggestions?

The problem with Backups is that they also include settings of the firmware you were using then, so for example if you used Linuxmod5 and now Basic Plus and restore the backup you took with the LM5, your V8 will go into a right mess, as it will change the main menu of Basic Plus into the LM5 one.
If you have the backup on your PC then do this.
Flash basic Plus, and create a new Backup, copy that to the PC as well now replace the main.db, all files in the ../profile folder and the devdetail.wbxml file from the Basic Plus backup with the ones you got from the LM5 (or whatever) backup, now copy this back onto the V8. Make sure you got all the pictures and ringtones in the same location, which you assigned to your contacts, very important. And now do a restore backup. You will now have at least your "old" phonebook back and your wap/mms settings.



That could depend on the amount of media files you have. On one occation I had around 400 MP3 files on my V8 and that took some time to read the first time, but still not 20 minutes. Try to turn off phone, take battery out for 15 minutes and then try again.

all bootloaders are in SHX format.

dark velvet, check your PM, i've sent you an alternate archive with no RSA A3.CF bootloader. it should work, i tested it today on my V8 512MB.

sbf or shx. You can flash both. shx is the older Flashformat. Have Bootloader in sbf Format too

yes, it's compatible with both models, 512mb and 2gb.

i think the basic and the evo 3 is already the same only the basic as another size of video recording and the option to install or uninstall pack,am i wrong?

Actually neither is good!
They both have a fault with the reset function.
Kleto's Elysseum or MPKG Basic are much better and newer.

but they are both unuseable on V8 512MB. they hang a lot when typing text.

recording size with 352x288 resolution is available via cam352x288.ins module. just install it. you can find it in Elysseum topic.

yes. this MPKG package (vPhoneFirewall) is available and can be installed to Elysseum.
