you was already told that:

1. if you have 512MB phone, go for Basic Plus, because Elysseum/MPKG Basic can hang during text input.
2. if you have 2GB phone, go for Elysseum/MPKG Basic. they are much newer.

but they are both unuseable on V8 512MB. they hang a lot when tryping text.

Oh, I did not knew that!
I only send a couple of short SMS with the 512MB MPKG Basic and had no problem, but my "everyday" phone is a 2GB V8 with MPKG Basic.

hi, i upload the basic plus and have a problem................
first a was listen music and the battery goes down at 5% in no

time, i say to myself that is ok maybe i dont charge at full, but the

battery last 5 hours o little more after that!!!!!!!!!!!!
So when the battery totally discharge I charged totally full and i

customize the stuff that i missed, so when i reboot the phone he

went freeze at the on screen then i try to turn it off with out

progress so i quit the battery and wait a moment and put i back

without any good,so i return the phone to the evo3 lp swan. Its a Normal bug or i miss something?

There is not much difference between Evo 3 and Basic Plus, apart from that Basic Plus allows to install Evo 3 mods and has a automated swap activation, once you created a swap file.
Have no idea what the fault could be.

Without a shred of doubt it is a cool work done and i have installed it and the only problem i am facing is that the phone gets warmer than before and the battery hasn't lasted even a day.
Can anyone update me with any help please?

Try to flash again, this should not happen.

Try a different firmware, even a stock one (make sure it is an unlocked one!) and see if the V8 still gets warm. If it does then it is not a firmware fault, but hardware problem, hopefully only a defect battery.

I have the same problem,my V8 2gb gets heated up.......
i switch it off for a while,take the battery out and i noticed it is not the battery rathr the v8 back and keypad....
it might have something to do with the cpu frequeny mod.............
