Hello. New here but love my v8! The only problem I have is a really creaky or squeaky hinge. Anyone have a fix for this? I have the 2 gig model and I'm using it on t-mobile.

Hardware errors can be fixed only at workshops. You may try opening and checking on your own using the "V8--take it apart" guide, but I recommend taking your phone to a repair personnel or the service center if you have warranty left....
Most probably there is some friction due to corrosion or faulty hinge angle. Get it checked asap or it may create further problems!

Thanks! It is still under warranty. But I'm afraid that when the repair shop works on it they may damage it or send me a re-man. Does anyone know what luck they have had with motorola warranty repair? Just wondering because the phone is MINT and I'm making a collection.
