Hello all,

As a 512mb V8 owner, i have always had to stare at the great modding stuff releasing for 2gb v8. It was boring to own a great shiny 512mb V8 with poor modding ability compared to 2gb model. Anyway, the things have changed now. HeartlessMOD@V8 is based on kleto's Elysseum Plus RC2 and adapted successfully to 512MB V8 It has all of the features that Elysseum Plus RC2 provides except auto swap at startup. Me and Rasputin007 have been working for this mp about two weeks and decided to release the 1st version. Briefly, HeartlessMOD@V8 512mb goals extreme modding ability, speed and stability without any bugs.

Known bugs :

- Mp3 playback rarely sounds weird for 2-3 secs.
- Reworked V8 Webserver doesn't take screenshots at first, click until you get the screenshot in your browser.
- Phone will freeze if you connect it as Memory device while a custom skin is in use.

Instructions

- This is only compatible with 512MB V8, don't flash it to 2GB V8.
- Always fully charge your battery and flash with RSD Lite 3.9 or newer version.
- You must have NoRSA Bootloader A3.CF flashed before flashing this mp.
- Flash the 512MB_HeartlessMOD_V8.sbf file with RSD Lite
- [COLOR="Blue"]Don't unplug the usb cable and use the V8 until phone has rebooted a second time after flashing process. This is very important.

Well, I flashed this firmware [I used Evo 3 before] and I have to say that this one is faster than Evo 3!
But I found three.. "bugs":
- no automount for swap [it's not a big problem actually]
- when I use MotoJaDi to give privileges for Java Apps, they crash with some error about certificates. This is unfortunate, because on Evo 3 it gave me option to run more than one Java app. [this actually is a bit annoying]
- when I access my V8 via FTP, I can't get to certain dirs [like /dev for example], Total Commander hangs on downloading file list. On the other hand - connection is stable and autorun on ftp is awesome

First of all, great work guys, and thaks a lot for this very neat MP!

However, I'm wondering if the apps listed in V8 manager in the 7th screenshot should be installed by default or I have to get them elsewhere. I installed the MP minutes ago and I don't see the apps in the list. Also, how do I make the menu bigger than 3x3 icons?

The apps in the 7th screen should be installed by users. They're mpkg apps.

@All,

Me and Ras are working on a much more stable and advanced version2 without the bugs of the first mp. Hoping to release it soon. So if anyone wants to upgrade their 512mb v8 to Hmod@V8, i suggest to wait for 2nd version.

There are 3 folders skin1 skin2 skin3 for installing skins without hassle but if you want to install more than 3 skins, you have to create/edit a chm file with wordpad and define the skins' file folder into it. Once you do it, you click on the chm file in phone explorer, mp installs the skin automatically.

U lost me... what is a chm files and where could i find skin with such file... plz donțt laugh...

One more thing to point out - I can't make new connection profiles [wap, mms, you know] - it just doesn't save them.

Also, I can't get autoconfiguration from my provider /: [it wouldn't be such a problem if I could make those profiles manually]
