I recently installed this on my phone, and it's working great, thanks so much

The only problem I have seem to be that I can't access the files on the phone other than through Phone Tools, even when I have it in storage device setting. It shows up in explorer, but I can't open it. Anyone knows what's wrong and how I can fix the problem?

(I have a 512mb, btw.)

before doing the master reset, restore the skin and font to default. And other custom files (if any) that mounts when booting. Disable Swap memory (if any).
Format the memory card in FAT (fat16), from your pc

Really want to use this, but there are no bootloader files in the downloaded file.

Is it alright to use the equivalent bootloader files found on this site?

Great, thanks for your fast reply - I have the bootloaders now, along with instructions.

Now to do it.......wipes sweat from brow!

Some other questions, if you don't mind, as I am totally new to this. I have searched, but can't find the info I need on these -

1) How do you do a Master Reset and under what cicumstances should it be done?

2) Is it advisable to remove the sim card before any flashing?

3) I know the phone has to be set to modem mode while flashing, but do you have to connect while in bootloader mode as well?
i.e. Press the 3 buttons to be in bootloader mode in order to flash? (EDIT -found the answer to this one, thanks.)

I have put this onto my V8 and it looks amazing, however I think I may have found a small glitch, when I try and Reset the phone or delete All Data or just Delete Memory, it says it is doing it, but then does nothing else and I have to remove the battery to get out of the loop. It has done nothing to the phone, reset or deleted anything. Anyone know why the Reset just locks out?

Hey, mate, remember to apply the default skin, the default font, and disable the Swap memory (if any) before doing the master reset.

If should be applyied when you want to restore all settings to default, as "the first day" that you used this MP.
And sometimes, it may solve some problems, for example, if the camera does not work anymore for X reason, master reset could be a solution before reflashing the phone...

2) There is no problem if you don´t remove the SIM card before flashing...

What if I have bootloader A3.CD ? Will it still work to flash the other bootloaders ?

Once you are in bootloader A3.CF, you cannot go back to a previous version.
Anyway, you won´t need to do that.

Flash bootloader A3.CF and NoRsa A3.CF, before flashing this MP, or another one.
