Motorola shipped the A3.CF bootloader with their latest firmwares (80.56.xx for 2GB V8 and 80.46.XX for 512MB V8). This A3.CF bootloader allows the V8 to run the firmware faster.
Triforce has based his Linuxmod-Fusion3 firmware on the 80.56 firmware, therefore a A3.CF bootloader is highly recommended, but you would need the NO_RSA A3.CF bootloader version as this is a modded firmware and the stock A3.CF bootloader would leave you hanging in the bootloader stage with an error message.
Hello triforce, thanks for the MP. I have a question for you. I was going through your guide, and read the BL order. However, (assuming the BL are numbered in hex) I have a BL A3.CD, which according to my assumption, is newer than A3.CC that is required for linuxmod. My FW version is r601_g_80.54.61r, if that helps. Its a 2gb version.
Flash the Stock A3.CF bootloader (works with any firmware!), you can get it when you download the stock 80.56.1BR firmware, the A3.CF bootloader is included. Next flash the NO_RSA A3.CF bootloader (works also with every firmware) and then flash the Linuxmod Fusion 3 Speed.
