    Solution IMPORTANT: Bootloader & Firmware Compatibility

    OK, so, I've reading that certain bootloaders and firmwares don't mix. I've seen a couple of bricks around, so, let's post our firmwares and bootloaders in order to know what bootloader goes with what firmware.

    RAZRē V8 512MB Version

    BOOTLOADER A3.C9 is known to work with

    R601_G_80.42.0FR (thanks to InsecureSpike)

    R601_G_ 80.42.39R (thanks to wizaard)

    R601_G_ 80.41.1BR (thanks to wizaard)

    R601_G_80.44.27R_A (thanks to Supersaiyan.IV)
    This firmware also has telnet enabled by default

     BOOTLOADER A3.CC is known to work with

    80.44.0CR (thanks to adamitsenayr)

    R601_G_80.44.2BR (thanks to e_p_a_k)

    RAZRē V8 2GB Version

    BOOTLOADER A3.CC is known to work with

    R601_g_80.53.3br (thanks to arwind_x)

    Please post some of the combinations that you've succesfully tried, so I can update this post

    My bootloader is A3.C4. And I've flashed into 17R,27R and 44R.All is working fine.

    I have a Z6 with Bootloader 03.CD

    It works only with 17R. I've tried 44R and 33R reflashes but none boots up.

    V8 512MB, bootloader A3.C9, I've succesfully flashed these FWs: R601_G_80.42.0FR and 80.42.39R. My original FW version was 80.41.1BR.

    Question razr2 v8 2gb

    my software version is R601_g_80.53.3br

    boot loader is A3.CC

    i found many features are missin in that version,
    can u tell me the latest version..

    Hi,
    I've tried the recommended firmwares for V8 512Mb up to R601_G_80.44.27R. Motorola Phone Tools can't read the contacts in the phone and can't update them after R601_G_80.42.39R.

    Any advice?
