Thanks - it seems R263311 firmwares have different offsets.
A) Updated first post including a link.
B) Test it out, also check wheter you need to mod file audio_cfg.db or audio_cfg_b.db.
Does anybody know what each of these offsets controls individually?
I only want to turn up my bluetooth and ear piece volume.
Level 0: 85e (recommended value 00)
Level 1: 861 (recommended value 01)
Level 2: 863 (recommended value 02)
Level 3: 865 (recommended value 03)
Level 4: 867 (recommended value 05)
Level 5: 869 (recommended value 07)
Level 6: 86b (recommended value 08)
Level 7: 86d (recommended value 09)
Do you know if this afects the volume level the bluetooth put's out? I was able in the past the adjust the gain table in my old V series phone and it made the volume louder on my headset and car.
I found that when I downloaded the file at the beginning of this thread for the V9x R2633121 and installed it turned down the talking phone level until you can't hear it, So you can barely hear it for phonebook names and dialing numbers and the spoken name when an incoming call.
Thanks
Renamed and copied the other file in all working fine now. I just want to increase the external speaker volume so I can hear calls better, which offset is that please.
I'd first like to says thanks for the great guide posted here. I have used it, and everything is great except for one thing. My ringtones are plenty loud, but my music mp3s just still have a very low volume. Does anyone know of a fix/edit to increase the volume of just the mp3 music on my v9? Thanks again for your help. (By the way, although this is my first post, I am not a "newb"; I have all the software, etc. to get the job done. I did download the modified file in the starter post of this thread and install it on my phone, but am still stuck with low volume on my mp3 music. Thanks again)
