You'll need to either find another fully-charged battery for your V9 or borrow a friend's handset in which to recharge your battery.
In bootloader mode, the handset is incapable of charging your battery, and now it is depleted to the point where it cannot safely execute the programming routine for re-flashing your phone. This is actually a safety feature that prevents permanent damage to your handset.
As a safe rule of thumb: do not attempt to re-flash your phone more than 3 times during a single session. Always make sure the battery is fully charged. Even better: have a spare, fully-charged battery on hand in case your first one completely discharges.Last edited by USSS; 11-04-2009 at 01:46 PM.

I'll let you in on a little secret: It sometimes takes 2 or 3 reflashes to make some firmware "stick" so that the phone will operate normally once again.
I had to reflash my old Maxx V6 several times on one occasion to install a new firmware version. I have no idea why this happens, but it is possibly due to one or more code groups not fully installing during the complete reflash routine.
Keep trying. Just make sure your battery will hold up for several reflash attempts.

Ah, it's always nice to end the day with a bit of good news.
Persistence pays. Sometimes it just takes a different tool to complete the job.

Hi,
I have a V9 with s/w version: R2633131-AS_U_A0.05.20R4 and language pack 0024.
What can I do to install Greek? (I think language pack 0031)
Can I do this changing only the language pack or I must use another firmware version?
thanks

My V9 keeps rebooting..... HELP!!???
I realize this may be out of turn or not the best place to post this question, but I want it to be read sooner than later. I'm desperate!
......
I bought an unlocked RazR2 V9 from an online company. Aside from the fact that the manual and all the menus were in Russian... the phone was great. I changed a couple of seems with P2KCommander with no troubles. A couple days later I went in to do another mod with P2K....
While the change was being copied, I either accidentally unplugged the usb cable or retardedly hit the restart button. (I forget, it was late)
The phone screen flashed off, then started flashing blank.... and P2K reported some problem. I closed p2k and disconnected the phone. Tried right away to get it into bootloader mode... and that works. But out of the bootloader screen, it just turns on backlit blank (dark), then no backlight dark, then off. ---over and over again.
Is the phone screwed? I read a post elsewhere about another phone that might indicate that the software is somehow corrupt and just wont load. ???
I tried flashing it with rsd lite 4.1 and a couple different firmware versions but no change.
Should I just try to exchange the phone or is there way to fix this? I'm new to modding, obviously, and you peoples on dis here wide world o interweb page seem to be pretty knowledgeable. HELP ME!
V9 (I believe it's the Euro version)
bootloader 7.90
firmware 2633131_U.A0.05FR1
thanks in advance--------------------------

Posting your question in five different threads is NOT the best way to get help here. Once is enough.

Most sincere apologies........
I actually got it figured out on my own. And it is true, I probably didn't need to post in five threads...... but if 4 reacted like you, I'd be happy to have that 5th person who's not angry at his parents... or whomever.
So sorry sir.
And thank you, so very much for your wisdom in the resolution of the situation.
