my z6 is frozen on the moto screen

my metro motorola z6 has been frozen on the moto screen for about a week and i've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in like a minute later that doesnt work. it froze one night when i was listening to music through the computer speakers when i unplugged it it shut off and came back on frozen. i went on fixya.com and found a soultion but it says i have to use rsd lite to flas it to metro. whats rsd lite? how do i flash it to metro? and whats rds general? i just really need some answers can someone please help me? a whole step by step walk through would be lovely. thanks

Have you already tried to turn it on without memory card?? and/or even without SIM card?

Rsd lite is the program that you use for flashing your phone.
