My Z6 was also dead for few hours after some modding, it was blinking some error I tried everything but nothing worked I thought I should go to service centre but before going I flashed a full mp then it booted & working now.

OK, so, I've reading that certain bootloaders and firmwares don't mix. I've seen a couple of bricks around, so, let's post our firmwares and bootloaders in order to know what bootloader goes with what firmware.

which version for a3.cf i have a z6 regular branded and subsidy unlocked by operator code bought on ebay and want it unbranded it is R60_G_80.33.46R and i have one file R60_G_80.33.4ER
will it work?

A3.CF works fine with the linuxmod i've flashed days ago, and i don't have any problem ^^

u need rsd lite and new fw or mp file. nothing more. create a backup just in case.

a3.cf con TODOS los firmwares. es una de las mas recientes bootloaders y acepta practicamente todos los fw.

f&b works but only working profile is 03.cd. all other bl will generate problems on some cgs

Todos en esta seccion tenemos un z6, para instalarle temas necesitas a juro un monsterpack modeado. para instalarle juegos y programas no necesitas nada, solo instalar el archivo desde el administrados de archivos del cel y listo. si necesitas mas ayuda avisame pero porfa usa el foro del z6 en español y NUNCA POSTEES TU EMAIL O DATOS PERSONALES. es contra las reglas del foro y vas a hacer que cierren el thread y te bannen. te recomiendo que edites tu post y borres las direcciones para evitar problemas.

to revive your old z6 install bootloader a3.cc, is the latest and will work on most cases. it's psted somewhere in the z6 section. if you don't find it contact me by pm and i'll send it to you

You know I'm still looking for a F&B for a China version of Rokr Z6. My bootloader is A3.C9. I've tried R60_G_80.33.44R and others and only get errors. Does anyone out there really have a solution? Thanks, Gnpmark

i believe the phone's hardware is the same all over the world, what changes is just the software... what kind of errors do you get? if it is a chinese characters problem, then you can install a language pack and it will solve the problem.

all right, i was such a idiot that i didn't red the part that says: don't change boot if you have A3.CF, it will brick the fone" and i changed it!!
so after a 3hr researching work to see what i've done, i fixed it with the A3.CC bootloader
now can anyone tell me that if i change now my boot to A3.C9 it will work?? i don't want to go through that episode in my hole life again :P

okay I was able to find out what my bootloader is and it is a3.c4. Is it okay just to change the bootloader to a3.c9 w/o flashing it to POL? I am not sure if POL will change my S/W and I don't want to do that until I can back it up.

If I got it correctly, the steps should be:

1. go to boot loader mode
2. connect phone to computer
3. in RSD lite press the button marked with ...
4. browse the folder where you downloaded the a3.c9 boot loader
5. press start

And is it safer to just change the bootloader then the firmware?

just as the first post says, changeing your bootloader to (the most recent at the moment) a3.c9 is a safer than with other because it supports every FW
uless you have boot a3.CF you should do it (not like me, i did it with a3.CF and i almost had a heart attack, but i fixed it xD) because it's safer
