    Solution Bootloader & Firmware Compatibility: An Easy Tip to Make Flashing Safer

    OK, so, I've reading that certain bootloaders and firmwares don't mix. I've seen a couple of bricks around, so, let's post our firmwares and bootloaders in order to know what bootloader goes with what firmware.

    THANKS TO AKEE NOW WE CAN SIMPLY FLASH BOOTLOADER A3.C9 INTO OUR PHONES TO MAKE FLASHING SAFER FOR ALL. THANKS A MILLION AKEE!

    DO NOT USE THIS FILE IF YOU HAVE BOOTLOADER A3.CF BECAUSE YOU WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE!!!

    A3.C4 BOOTLOADER is known to work with

    R60_G_80.33.44R (personally tested)

    R60_G_80.32.0FR (personally tested)

    A3.C9 BOOTLOADER is known to work with all firmwares (thanks to iancdp)

    03.CD BOOTLOADER is known to work with

    17R (thanks to psycovirus & electroblaze)

    All versions of Power of Linux up to 0.3a by abramzz (based in 44r, thanks to     siva.ss.kumar)

    Is this possible? If so, what is the process (RSD Lite and flash it???)

    Answering my own question. YES. From 03.CD BL, 17R FW, I am running now A3.C9 BL, 33.05R. Thanks Akee/Archer.
    Also have the PoL reflash (got used to it) and Yan0 reflash with my own pic as startup image.

    Yeah, that all apparently. I'll try it myself right now and post back.

    yep, that is all. Just connect the phone to the pc, flash the bootloader refresher and that all. You're free to flash anything you want

    QUESTION TO Motorola Modding PROFESSIONALS regarding Bootloader & Firmware Compatibility:

    I have Z6 R60_G_80.31.17R with boot 03.CD.
    When I'm trying to flash language pack R60_G_80.32.0FR_LP002E.sbf (RAM DL Version: v0x00A3C4 ), I get this error:

    Bootloader
    03.cd
    Err:A5,70,2E
    After that the phone was reflashed with original firmware version and returned to original state.

    I can change RAM DL Version in this file
    R60_G_80.32.0FR_LP002E.sbf from A3.C4 to 03.CD.

    So, will the phone work fine after flashing with the file with lower RAM DL A3.C4?
