This thread may go on forever. lol
I have a (Locked) V3 Razr. I've had no problems using MPT.
I've loaded the most recent drivers from the link in the first post of this thread. And rebooted.
In Windows XP control panel I do find the Motorola USB Modem.
I've tried connecting to my phone using P2K_Easy_Tool_v39, p2kman and LeaderGL_FlexEditor_10.4. Same result with them all. The programs don't see the phone.
The Quote (above) says to switch to data/fax mode... I don't have that option in my phone. It's only shows bluetooth and Sync at that location.
How can I get into Modem mode?
My 1st goal is to increase the volume of the speaker on my phone.
I'm also curious about using my phone as a data stick...
Seems some people can see their phone as a data stick in windows? How can I set that up?
Thanks to the good people who take time to help us noobs.

Thanks Dumba...
For my other problems, I found apristel's guide (V3 Driver / Connection Issues? Try This.) and it worked fine.
Next step.. how do I do a complete & total backup of my V3 for 'just in case'... Got to be a guide for that somewhere..
