I can't seem to easily find answers to the problems I'm having with the T-Mobile Razr my friend gave me. He was able to get the security code, I unlocked it, stuck my Cingular SIM card in it (I'm on the pre-paid plan), and I can make calls and it works fine.

Here's the problem. I'm getting text messages about a 453 error whenever I turn the phone on or reboot it. It's being sent from 1121611611 and it's charging me for it (since I'm pre-paid). After googling the problem, the only clear answer I've seen is that I need to unbrand my phone. However, whenever I look for unbranding guides, none of them really seem to indicate how I do anything other than change graphics or shopping links.

To top it all off, I don't really know exactly what kind of phone I have. So even if I wanted to look at guides or post in forums, I don't know which one to look at or post in.

Can I get some help? Sorry I'm so noob.
