[Guide] Run your phone without a SIM card :)

Ever want to have your phone on and functional without a SIM card?

Well, here's how.

Things You need:
P2K Advanced Editer
RAZR V3

What You Do:
1. open P2K Advanced Editer and connect phone
2. click connect in P2k Mode
3. go to Phone Services> SEEM Functions> SEEM 4a. in the menu at the top.
4. now in the filter box write sim and click find
5. click read from phone
6. in the top there should be something called SIM_ENABLED_PHONE
7. click it and the Dec should be to 1. if it is change it to 0
8. click write to phone
9. remove sim and restart phone ( no sim should be in while phone turning on)


Now you can use the phone without a sim, play games, camera etc.

my phone does not connect when i start P2K even in data/fax connection my slvr l7 does not show as connectedPlease help

which driver should i install?

it still shows disconnected ohhh...will i be able to do it or not??

open another p2k program like mswitch or skiman or f&b or rsd and then allow the drivers to install
after
use mswitch to switch to p2k and then hit connect in p2k ae

it should be "detect Automatically"

i have a question, i followed all the steps for this to work on my rizr z3, but when i click read from phone it says "ERROR READING SEEM" can anyone help please me out?

never mind pple i figured it all out, this really works. it took me a while but i just kept screwing around nd got it all figured out.

help! trying to bypass sim card so I can use v3 phone without one. I downloaded P2K Advanced Editor Build 5515 and the drivers (32bit windows) for my motorola. the computer connects to the motorola no prob, but the editor won't read my phone. any suggestions??? No clue what I am doing here but trying desperately to figure it all out. Thanks!

I use linux (ubuntu/debian) the application i use is motolin ....
Got into seem editor...
by default it read 0032_001, then i searched 004a-0001 in the search space in motolin, it read the following....



can you help me how to read 4D from this list and modify....

I am also able to edit the seem to disable the SIM,but none of the memory related stuff is working - Organizer, music/music player, memory card, camera, pictures etc. Any help/hint will be appreciated.
