[Guide] Run your phone without a SIM card :)

Ever want to have your phone on and functional without a SIM card?

Well, here's how.

Things You need:
P2K Advanced Editer
RAZR V3
_______________________
What You Do:
1. open P2K Advanced Editer and connect phone
2. click connect in P2k Mode
3. go to Phone Services> SEEM Functions> SEEM 4a. in the menu at the top.
4. now in the filter box write sim and click find
5. click read from phone
6. in the top there should be something called SIM_ENABLED_PHONE
7. click it and the Dec should be to 1. if it is change it to 0
8. click write to phone
9. remove sim and restart phone ( no sim should be in while phone turning on)

Now you can use the phone without a sim, play games, camera etc.

I got it from a dude who thinks you can run sprint on a v3. and all the other cdma things. Kinda found it on accident.

um....actually no. Its in seem 4a i guess. This is all i can see from p2kae.

This ISNT the 0032_001 seem edit (if you search the seem map for SIM, there is an edit in 0032, but its not this one.

Maybe you can figure out which offset this is...

Ok I just manually looked thru it and found it
SEEM 004A_0001
offset 4D no bit manipulation, 01 for require sim, 00 for no sim need.

SO put 00 at offset 4D and you should have it.

4D now my screenshot makes sense.

from the screenshot, I can tell it is
seem 004a-0001 offset 4D bit 0: SIM card required? (1 Yes, 0 No).

and tested. added in my seem handbook.
