[Guide] Installing Java Apps using Moto MIDlets Manager

I kept seeing people asking for help installing java apps to their phone. So, I've made a guide for everyone to look at and follow when uploading java apps. Enjoy!!

Before we start, let's get a couple things.
1. Make sure you have Moto MIDlets Manager installed on your computer. If you don't have it, get it HERE.
2. Make sure you have a .JAD and .JAR file of the application you wish to install saved somewhere where you can easily find it. It's not necessary to have the .JAD, but it's the easiest way to install the app.


Alright, ready? Let's get started.

Make sure your phone is connected, and then open Moto MIDlets manager. Now for the rest of the Tutorial, just follow the pics.

If I left anything out, feel free to let me know so that I can update it with the changes.

BAd skin. Try it on your Moto skin (or Alkali or something) and see if it works?

I akready use alkali skin and i went through all my other skins still didnt work ... THis is BS

ok, i'm new to these forums and this modding stuff, but i've learned a lot in the past two days. I'm trying to get the 100+ hacked itunes on my L7 and i have the lastest version of the moto midman, but i can't get it to recognize my phone. I've followed all the instructions but it just won't read it. Can some one help me out, it'd be much appreciated.

Hey I'm new here! I'm just wondering, what if the Moto MIDLETS Manager does not recognize your phone even if u already connected it in the computer? What do i do?

One more thing.......does installing skin on my phone damages it in some way?

Have you already installe the P2KDriver on your PC ?

You have to install the P2K Driver on your PC to get connected with MotoMidMan.
