im new and i wanted to learn more about my phone. cos i saw this one person he also got moto l7 but there are no lines when he's writing a message and his skin so cool black and red. anyway i downloaded couple of fonts but i dont know where to put them in my mobile folder. the rest of the folders are empty except for the music, the videos and the pictures...

how can i put the fonts and the skins in my phone to work?

what's the difference with the .shx extension from the .ski. the skins i downloaded all got .shx ....

i got my RSD lite 2.5 installed is it safe to use are there no bugs in 2.5?

i also got my P2K tools downloaded

can anyone suggest skins for me, i mean that i can download. cool skins in particular that is compatible with my version. i am nothing when it comes to these kinds of stuff. i skipped the whole hardware check thing since i got the cd installation for the L7 together with the phone. got the motorola phone tools as well so i skipped ahead that one and went straight downloading the P2k and the RSD Lite. is it alright i did it that way?

You can get skins from the download section. You can sort them by no of downloads to see which ones are the hottest.
MP = monster pack - this is basically someone's phone backup which can be flashed onto your phone to get the latest and best firmware and features for your phone.

im not into flexing and flashing. i downloaded all the programs needed. im trying motomidman now since i only wanted the skins i don't want to change anything more in my motorola l7. I love the way it works just want to change its looks.now the problem lies here, the p2ktool in the download section is broken i downloaded it but when i extracted it the file is damaged or corrupt. I can't download ctheme 11 in my phone since i need the p2k tool in order to process the commands. so anyone got working and SAFE link for me? almost most of the links at the download page already contain the trojan virus.

to install skin use skin manager

download other versions of p2k tools, if u need it for anyother purpose

oh the skiman i had the 4. something version... the problem i had with that one is that it doesn't detect the phone although i changed the connectivity and reboot several times. anyway your version is new so i'll try that one first. you'll be getting a reply from me just a few minutes.... im downloading and installing it now ok the problem is that it does not detect my phone something like S flash neptune LE2 installer needed. but moto dev does not have any file named like that. i also found a relevant source but it's for vista only.... im using xp

S flash neptune LE2 installer needed... its still the same. at first it was working but then after my uncle fixed the error that occured it fails to sense the connection data coming from my phone. but the motorola phone tools can detect my connection how come RSD lite, and Ski man, and Moto mid man ain't working

aww... you make it sound easy... for a non-techie like me. How can I install the driver when I don't know where to get it. motorola phone tools still can sense my connection that means there's no problem in my usb port connection

I don't know how else to help you, I've pointed you to drivers in the other thread.

Have your phone in Data\Fax Mode, open F&B3 or RSDLite, hook up your phone, and it will ask for drivers.

its working its transferring files now after this what's next? can i transfer .ski files using rsd lite? what should i do? it is slowly installing the needed devices cool.... maybe after this it will now work thanks a lot for being patient with me mwahhh!!
